Where it gets mowed!
You’ve likely already mowed a neighbor’s lawn. Maybe it was because they were sick, broke a bone, had a baby, etc. But what about a stranger? Ideas to execute:
- Pay attention to the smaller homes in your community to see which lawns are getting a bit long:
- If you’re a candidate/elected using VoteSharp:
- Run a list of constituents over the age of 80 (or whatever you want);
- When you’re by a house, use the map! Click on the house’s pin, then click on a voter to open their file. Click “Voter Data” to check their age.
- Sometimes anonymous help is unwanted, so it might be good to ring the doorbell and ask for their resident’s permission.
- Run a list of constituents over the age of 80 (or whatever you want);
- If you’re NOT a candidate/elected and you want to be a good neighbor (it doesn’t have to be your literal neighbor, remember everyone is our neighbor – especially those who do not walk, talk, look, act, believe like us).
- If you’re a candidate/elected using VoteSharp:
- Did you drive by a house with an “It’s a Boy/Girl” sign or balloons? Grab that mower!
- Alternative for non-mowers: In either of these cases above, if you have a lawn service, ask them to stop by the house and bill you for the mow.
Happy serving,
