Table-hood Watch

If you’ve ever worked from home, you know there are sometimes you need a change of scenery. A coffee shop, a library, a bustling restaurant, or even a sports bar with dozens of screens during March Madness… Just for example…

A LinkedIn contact, Shannon Watson, recounted a recent such visit in a post last week. She asked a woman working nearby if she could keep an eye on her stuff. Before the ask was complete, the woman said “I’ve got you”. Such a small thing, but did you just feel your shoulders relax a bit? Shannon runs an organization called Majority in the Middle – in Minnesota. So she has a few things going on right now, and that small courtesy from a stranger made her day.

It hit me as a great Serve60Sharp idea. Sometimes serving others is letting them be of service to you.

Happy serving,

Stephanie Sharp
